Morro Bay, CA

Coast National Bank, Morro Bay, was designed to reflect the residential, small town character of the community. The corner site’s prominent location required an exterior design that created instant recognition. Access to the two drive-up lanes from the main street was critical, while still allowing for adequate circulation on the trapezoidal-shaped property.

The exterior included extensive wood trellis covered areas, slate roofing, fiber cement siding, and wood trim. The interior highlights the exposed heavy timber truss system, while incorporating similar colors and finishes used in Coast National’s headquarters.
